We Believe
WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE (ALL OF IT)
TPCD is founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.
We Sing With All Our Hearts: Because in the Bible we read, "make a joyful noise unto the Lord...and sing praise." Psalms 98:4
We All Pray Together: Because in the Bible we read, "they lifted up their voice with one accord." Acts 4:24
We Clap Our Hands: Because in the Bible we read, "O, clap your hands all ye people." Psalms 47:1
We Anoint With Oil For Divine Healing: Because in the Bible we read, "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the Elders of the church and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord."James 5:15
We Baptize In The Name Of Jesus Christ: Because in the Bible we read, Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,..."Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5, etc. This fulfills Matthew 28:19
We Believe In Recieving The Holy Ghost: Because in the Bible we read, "...and ye shall recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord shall call." Acts 2:38, Acts 2:4, Acts 10:46, Acts 19:6
The evidence of the gift of the Holy Ghost is speaking in heavenly or other tongues.
